Entry Terms
Last updated: 31 October 2026
These terms apply to every competition on lensview.gr. The rules of each competition, on its page, complement them and, where they differ, take precedence.
1. Who can enter
- Anyone who meets the requirements in the competition rules and has an account on lensview.gr.
- People aged 15 and over. Younger entrants need the consent of a parent or guardian, which you declare in the entry form.
- Jury members cannot enter the competition they are judging.
2. Submitting
Entries are submitted through the competition page, before the deadline and to the specifications in the rules (file format and size, number of works, categories). Every entry is checked before it is approved. We may reject entries that do not meet the terms.
3. Originality and third-party rights
By submitting, you confirm that:
- you are the author of the work and hold all rights in it,
- you have the consent of anyone identifiable in the work and, for minors, of their parents,
- the work does not infringe the rights of others or the law,
- images created with artificial intelligence are submitted only if the rules expressly allow it.
4. Copyright and use of the works
Copyright stays with the creator. By entering, you grant the organiser and LensView a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce and present the work, always with your name, for the purposes of the competition:
- in the gallery and the announcement of results,
- in promoting the competition on pttl.gr, on social media and in the press,
- in an exhibition, screening or printed material related to the competition.
Any other use, especially commercial use, requires a separate agreement with the creator, unless the competition rules state otherwise. You see the rules before you submit.
5. Content that is not allowed
We do not accept works with offensive, racist, violent or sexually explicit content, works that expose minors or violate people’s dignity, or works that advertise products or services unless the competition asks for it.
6. Judging and results
Works are judged by the jury according to the criteria in the rules. Judges see entries without the creators’ names. The jury’s decisions are final. Results are announced on the competition page.
7. Prizes
Prizes are as described in the rules and cannot be exchanged for cash unless stated otherwise. We contact winners by email. If a winner does not reply within the deadline set in the rules, the prize may go to the next in line.
8. Disqualification
Entries that breach these terms are disqualified, even after the results are announced. In that case the prize is withdrawn.
9. Changes to a competition
For serious reasons, the organiser may amend, postpone or cancel a competition. Any such change is announced on its page.
10. Personal data and law
How we process your data is described in our Privacy Policy. Everything else is covered by the Terms of Use, Greek law and the jurisdiction of the courts of Thessaloniki. For questions, contact us via our contact form.
